We left early to beat the crowds, grabbing coffee and bagels for the road. The Falls were even louder than I remembered, that endless roar and mist soaking everything. We rode the Maid of the Mist right up to the horseshoe, got drenched and laughed the whole time. A quick walk behind the Falls through the tunnel, then poutine and buffalo wings at a little tavern. Headed back just before sunset, tired and happy.
